eLicense Frequently Asked Questions

Licensees and applicants can find answers to common questions here.

June-July-August Renewals

Licensees with a renewal date in June, July, or August received the traditional renewal letter. This letter included information for renewing in the existing system, as well as information regarding registering in the new system.

Licensees with a renewal date between June 9 and 19 and have not yet renewed their license will not be able to renew while our system is offline.  After June 19, 2017 use the information sent to you in your renewal letter to sign into our new system to renew your license.

The Board cannot accept or process license renewals between June 9 and June 18, 2017.

New System Goes-Live

June 19 the State's new licensing system (eLicense) went live.  All active licensees, as well as those licensees Inactive-Escrow, will receive a registration e-mail from the Board after June 19. The e-mail will include instructions for registering in the new system.  Licensees are encouraged to register in the system at their convenience. Please be mindful of renewal dates.

CE Broker

CSWMFT anticipates implementing CE Broker, a service to assist with reporting completed CE, in August.  More information will be provided closer to the date of implementation.

Proposed Rule Changes Available for Public Comment

The CSWMFT Board is considering revisions to a number of rules (see below).  Licensees, stakeholders, and the public is encouraged to comment on the proposed changes. During its July 20-21, 2017 meetings, the CSWMFT Board will consider approving rules for submission in the formal rule making process. The proposed rules change can be downloaded at http://cswmft.ohio.gov/WhatsNew.aspx.

Stakeholders and licensees are encouraged to comment before the July meeting to ensure their feedback can be considered by the Board. Upon final approval by the Board, the proposed rules will be submitted for formal consideration in the rule making process. The public will then have another opportunity to comment before any rules take effect.
