No Renewals No New Applications Until After June 19, 2017

The Board is offline and cannot process any renewals or applications until after June 19, 2017.

June-July-August Renewals

Licensees with a renewal date in June, July, or August received the traditional renewal letter. This letter included information for renewing in the existing system, as well as information regarding registering in the new system.

Licensees with a renewal date between June 9 and 19 and have not yet renewed their license will not be able to renew while our system is offline.  After June 19, 2017 use the information sent to you in your renewal letter to sign into our new system to renew your license.

The Board cannot accept or process license renewals between June 9 and June 18, 2017.

Application and Renewal System Closes for Transition

Beginning June 9th at midnight the CSWMFT Board will cease accepting new applications and license renewals in its existing online system. On June 19, 2017 a new system will go live. Current licensees will receive information regarding registering in the new system after June 19.

New System Goes-Live

June 19 we anticipate our new licensing system (eLicense) going live.  All active licensees, as well as those licensees Inactive-Escrow, will receive a registration e-mail from the Board after June 19. The e-mail will include instructions for registering in the new system.  Licensees are encouraged to register in the system at their convenience. Please be mindful of renewal dates.

Name and Address Changes

Owing to system access issues, the Board has ceased processing name changes.  After June 19, licensees requesting a name or address change, or other special service request, may do so by registering in eLicense and submitting a request via the eLicense portal.

CE Broker

CSWMFT anticipates implementing CE Broker, a service to assist with reporting completed CE, in August.  More information will be provided closer to the date of implementation.

Public Hearing – Proposed Fee Increase

Tuesday, June 20, at 1:00 PM, the Board will hold a public hearing to receive comments regarding its proposal to increase license application and renewal fees.  The proposed rule change can be found at http://cswmft.ohio.gov/WhatsNew.aspx. The hearing will be at the Board offices at 77 South High Street, 24th Floor, Room 2468, Columbus, Ohio 43215.

Proposed Rule Changes Available for Public Comment

The CSWMFT Board is considering revisions to a number of rules (see below).  Licensees, stakeholders, and the public is encouraged to comment on the proposed changes. During its July 20-21, 2017 meetings, the CSWMFT Board will consider approving rules for submission in the formal rule making process. The proposed rules change can be downloaded at http://cswmft.ohio.gov/WhatsNew.aspx.

Stakeholders and licensees are encouraged to comment before the July meeting to ensure their feedback can be considered by the Board. Upon final approval by the Board, the proposed rules will be submitted for formal consideration in the rule making process. The public will then have another opportunity to comment before any rules take effect.

Paper Applications from LPC/LPCC Applicants

Effective immediately, paper license applications will not be accepted and will be returned to the applicant.
